The Ministry of Detainees sends several letters to international bodies urging them to save the life of Hisham Abu Hawwash

The Ministry of Detainees sent several letters to many human rights and international institutions urging them to urgently intervene to save the life of the detainee Hisham Abu Hawash, 40 years, who has been on an open hunger strike for 139 days, and is facing a very difficult health situation.

The ministry is following with great concern the health conditions of Abu Hawash, as he is in an intermittent coma as a result of his hunger strike and may lose his life at any moment. He was returned to Ramle prison after he was transferred to (Assaf Harofeh) hospital despite the need to receive necessary health care.

The occupation authorities transferred him to the Ramle Clinic, which does not have the minimum health requirements necessary for patients, noting that the occupation practiced arbitrariness and excessive provision of the necessary health care to the prisoner, in clear violation of international laws and treaties that protect his rights.

, The occupation authorities must be forced to deal humanely and legaly with the Palestinian detainees, particularly those under administrative detention, and to immediately work to end the detention of the prisoner Hisham Abu Hawash, who is on hunger strike, and release him as soon as possible.

. Abu Hawwash was arrested 27th October last year and three administrative detention orders were issued against him, and this is an obvious violation to human rights conventions and International law.
